What I love most is the easy to navigate format. I’ve barely scratched the surface of what Trello can do. You can add deadlines, checkpoints, attach files, and send emails to the project. My team and any collaborators we’ve brought in have access to every stage of the project. Project management software is the place where my clients’ projects live. I always find something I want to correct or change after hearing the words out loud. After my copywriting is complete and edited, I use Natural Reader to listen to my piece. I never knew I needed it until I tried it out. This software was the one that took me by surprise. My writing varies from web, to print, to articles, to books, so for me this is perfect. It has so many more editing features and styles to choose from. This is my alternative to Grammarly for grammar and style editing. And there’s a free version that works well if you’re just starting out. I’m not up to date on the new features and integrations they’ve added, but a scheduling software is a big time saver. It syncs with my calendar and Zoom so the only thing I have to do is show up. I just send my Calendly link and they can see when I have availability for a meeting and schedule themselves. This one saves me from playing phone tag with my clients or my team. Toucan is a newish option that looks like a lot of fun and something we may switch to in the future. I’ve used GoTo Meeting, JoinMe and some others over the years, but it’s Zoom for now. I use this for meeting with clients, new prospects, contractors we hire, and our internal team meetings. If you’re just starting out, Zoho will let you use your domain name as your email with the free version so you can look legit. I want to switch the company to Zoho, but the transition feels overwhelming and Google makes it too easy to stay.
